Today I learned that producer/writer Lee Hazlewood urged Nancy Sinatra to sing “These Boots Are Made For Walkin'” as if she were “a sixteen-year-old girl who fucks truck drivers.”

    La la la la Lee!

    Pour Man, Dark in my Heart, The Girls in Paris, I Move Around, Dolly and Hawkeye, …. classics all around. Also responsible for the best song ever written about Olof Palme.

    Trouble is a Lonesome Town: best concept album ever.

    Somewhere on youtube is the whole of Cowboy in Sweden. It’s bizarre.

    Even his duets with Ann-Margret are good.
