Do only progressives consume porn? I realize it’s more stereotypically part of their script, and not those of more conservative bent, but surely porn is viewed by many whose professed worldviews stand in actual opposition to it; simply secretly, thanks to the ‘Net. Have we noticed any softening in the stances of rank-and-file Republicans (as opposed to their more liberal leadership) towards gay marriage? I don’t think so.
I’m inclined to be wary of that study; seems too pat, too convenient an explanation.
