This is not great urban architecture, perhaps, but it’s really good urban architecture, engaging, inventive within a familiar scheme, inviting — and it’s hard to imagine that any working architect today, especially the highest paid among them, could come up with anything half as good.
Yeah, that’s exactly what I wanted to highlight with this post — the really good, every day design. I figured I post enough monumental, grand buildings but featuring the ordinary yet excellent is just as important.
