   I almost watched THE EXTERMINATING ANGEL last night but I opted for UGETSU instead.

     What did you make of UGETSU? That’s a favorite of mine. Have you done SANSHO THE BAILIFF?

     I’ve always thought EXTERMINATING ANGEL was a great idea, and kind of a tedious movie.

       Yeah, I watched SANSHO a few months ago. I really enjoyed both it and UGETSU, so I’m 2 for 2 with Mizoguchi. Hulu has a few others of his, I was thinking of watching STREET OF SHAME next.

       Is OHARU on there? Or CRUCIFIED LOVERS? I like those a lot. SHAME is pretty good too.

       Yeah, OHARU and LOVERS are both on there (the latter under the name A STORY OF CHIKAMATSU). I’ll check ’em out.
