More Hillary Mouth Wide Open

Paleo Retiree writes:

I’ve blogged (here and here) about how prone Hillary Clinton is to opening her mouth wide while in public. What does she intend to convey? How to explain the compulsion? And why haven’t any of her handlers urged her to knock it off? It’s … well, a little grotesque. Depending on your mood, the expression makes her look like a death mask, or a shark, or a horror-movie banshee. Or maybe just like someone trying to make it easy for her dentist to do some repair work on her molars.

Hillary’s in fact so prone to pulling the expression that I don’t even have to go looking for examples. They come at me unbidden as I surf the web, and nearly every day. So why not pass a few of them along? Opportunistic and easy blogging, ftw.

For a minute there, I thought I saw a tongue stud. But I knew that couldn’t be… After all, we all know she isn’t into what that entails; hence the Monica saga… 😉

It’s very probable she is no more or less prone to having her mouth open than anyone else. Rather, you’re seeing a choice made by art directors to use the photos where she is (and, yes, other women as well, as you’ve shown in your other posts). Why that may be, is a different question.
