Some recent action movies are so transparently based on shooter games that it feels like they would work better as games. I think I never finished the first John Wick movie for this reason. I don’t care for first-person shooters anyway, so I don’t see any fun in vicariously “playing” them by watching these kind of movies.
Looks like the Wick film has Storm Trooper syndrome — the bad guys just can’t shoot straight. You’d think they might catch a break and get the guy, even in the arm or the leg, but nope. Just miss miss miss.
