    As a representation of the Islamic mind, Islamic art explains a lot, I think. I find it leaves me pretty cold. Busy, but somehow lifeless. Compare to something like the Book of Kells which has similar complex creations but is bursting with life.

    Much as I dislike their faith, I like the colours, and designs, of their architecture.
