Actually, I wasted quite a bit of my youth reading RPG manuals but played the games relatively little. So you are not the only one.
Your friend at Popehat has a good point. The thing I would add is that most of those (not American Airlines, of course) appear to be new-media or high-tech corporations or left-of-center groups; we don’t see ExxonMobil doing this, for example. So corporate penetration by ideology varies by sector (as you’d expect).
