Listen to enough T-Bone Walker, and you will hear every lick Chuck Berry ever played, and so much more.

Ha! But yeah, they do have better songs than Creep.

Haven’t checked out most of these, I’ll put them on rotation. If you’re trying to get into non-trad jazz, and especially Coltrane, I’d suggest Giant Steps. Or Nefertiti by Miles.

I’m with you on Lemonade. Beyonce is a phenomenal performer (and gorgeous as hell) and I’ve liked a few of her songs. But for the life of me, I can’t see how, in 15 years, anyone will be humming them? I know I’m wrong, but geez. Fun to dance to, though.

Cliff Martinez. Nice. He’s also behind the awesome music to Cinemax’s The Knick, worth checking out.

Paranoid Android is better than Creep. Still, that commenter was being a creep…

Interesting list. Will check some out.

I don’t like the Stones record. Feels tedious to me. But then, I don’t like the blues.

Checking out the Ladyhawke. Kind of reminds me of my girl Ingrid Michaelson.
