A pet theory of mine is that our health-care crisis would be 90% solved if people would 1) lose some weight, 2) quit the cigarettes, 3) knock off the packaged foods, 4) take a daily walk, 5) act their age, and 6) quit sticking the wrong things up their butts.
(1) Any fool can lose weight, it’s keeping it off that’s hard. (2) I found that giving up smoking was easy, but then it wasn’t cigarettes I smoked. (3) I eat little in the way of packaged foods. (4) I prefer a daily cycle. (5) I’m not a perpetual teenager, if that’s what you mean. (6) My bum is unsullied (except for occasional visits by an endoscope, obviously).
I suppose I must be in the other 10%.
