    At least they’re not trying to disguise the homosexual’s nature anymore — campy and kiddie, not urbane and refined like they told us. They’re also not trying to hide what role he plays in the world of fag hags — he’s an overgrown perma-baby for childless women who’d rather not go through the mess of pregnancy or raising a teenager.

    When I first read “Confederacy of Dunces” years ago, I thought it was silly that Ignatius would watch TV and shout “filth”, “this is an abortion” and the like. Nowadays I can’t understand how someone doesn’t have that reaction.
