This John Ford-directed episode of “Wagon Train” is worth a watch. I love the shot at about 5:25 when the wife walks behind the wagon. A great example of Ford’s knack for staging. John Wayne makes a very brief cameo. Or at least his voice does (Ford resists giving him a close-up).
