University Library KU, Leuven, Belgium. During WWII the building and all of its books burned down. It was rebuilt according to the original design.

    I was going to ask, if the collection burned along with the library, what’d they put in the new building? Then I read that the collection was restored with donations from all over the world.

    Sometimes humanity doesn’t totally suck.
