Surely one of the iconic movie advertising images of its era. When the eyeglasses have been broken, you know you’re in for trouble. One of my favorite symbolic chestnuts.

    and the damn photograph caries on the eeriness. first your looking at dustin in broken glasses then ghost lines and things in focus that should not be and when the poster finally ends your looking for the absence of the glass frames in the photograph. wonderful. I can remember seeing this one on tv from time to time before I knew who peckinpah was, does anyone know when the scolds banished it.
