Napping. But then napping is my preferred strategy for dealing with nearly everything.

I take a short nap, with a little self-hypnosis beforehand. In The Anthologist, Nicholson Baker observes that mowing the lawn is a good way to ratchet up the energy. I think that’s true.

Various natural substances, especially caffeine, help a lot. So does some top shelf sativa, & it doesn’t make me as jittery as caffeine.
