  3. Love it. Plus: “Charade” (which I saw when it first came out) was the first movie I genuinely loved. Double-plus: I once got to interview Stanley Donen and tell him that.

    • I finally saw it this weekend and loved it too. I read somewhere that it was Pauline’s favorite movie of 1963? Her review in “5001 Nights” notes it was initially panned upon release, which I had to shake my head at.
